Order Ted Drewes Frozen Custard in larger quantities for pickup in St. Louis! We ask that you place all bulk pickup orders 48 hours in advance to give us enough time to prep and freeze your items. During peak times and holidays, we kindly ask that you place orders further in advance so we can prepare accordingly and accommodate demand.

These orders are available for both personal and commercial use.

We do not offer local shipping. For orders outside of St. Louis, Missouri, overnight shipping via UPS is required.

Placing an Order for Pickup in St. Louis

All orders are processed through our Chippewa location. Call us at (314) 481-2652 between 11 AM – 6 PM to place an order. To ensure your order is ready, we recommend calling at least 48 hours in advance, especially during busy seasons or holidays.

When you call, please have the following ready:

  • Name for the order (tax-exempt orders must be placed under the organization’s name)
  • Pickup date and time
  • Flavor selections (see below)
  • Payment (due at pickup, along with cooler deposit if applicable)

Pickup when the stand opens at 11 AM. Staff is typically available by 9 AM — just ring the bell on the east side of the building for early assistance. We suggest picking up before 6 PM, as evenings get busy.

Keeping Your Order Cold

For storage over 1 hour, bring a cooler or borrow one from us with a $25 refundable cash or check deposit (each holds up to 100 cups).

Dry ice is provided at no charge. 

PRO TIP: for short trips, dry ice and the box are usually sufficient.

WHAT FLAVORS ARE AVAILABLE IN BULK FOR LOCAL PICKUP?

We always have Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Chip, Heath Bar, and Oreo in stock. Other flavors can be made with additional prep time.

CAN I ORDER SPECIALIZED FLAVOR OPTIONS?

We will accommodate any flavor for orders with 10 or more items. If you need something frozen for traveling, please call a min of 24 hours in advance. View our menu for flavor options.

You can mix different sizes and flavors, and we can label them individually.

WHAT SIZES CUPS ARE AVAILABLE IN BULK FOR LOCAL PICKUP?

Our standard size for large orders is 8oz. which we keep in our freezer.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER?

At least 48 hours’ notice is preferred.

WHEN CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER?

We open at 11:00 AM, but staff is usually available from 9:00 AM to assist.

IS THERE SPECIAL BULK PRICING AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICKUP?

Bulk pickup pricing is as follows:

8oz. frozen minis: $3.75 per cup

50+ cups: 10% discount ($3.38 each)

100+ cups (Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry): 20% discount ($3.00 each)

Tax-exempt organizations (schools, churches, resellers) – Ask about tax-free pricing.

HOW DO I KEEP MY ORDER COLD?

We provide free dry ice to keep your order cold.

If transporting straight to a freezer, a box with dry ice is enough.

If storing for more than 1 hour, use a cooler.

Bring your own or borrow one from us.

A $25 cash/check deposit is required per cooler (holds 100 cups) and is refunded when returned.

No, we only offer pickup orders. Local customers can place bulk orders (10+ items) for pickup at our Chippewa Location.
